Recruiter @ o Recruiting all areas across SEUK (Samsung Electronics UK) including Sales, Marketing, Finance and HR o Manage the attraction and selection of placement students and graduates on to our programmes including attend careers fairs, implement selection process, organise and run Assessment Centres and manage the offers of all candidates From January 2014 to Present (2 years) ODC Staffing Manager @ o Staffing manager for all outdoor events including festivals all around the UK, events at Alexandra Palace and Lord’s Cricket ground o A huge focus on costing events based on forecasts to staff all events as tight as possible o Book all staff for outdoor events, payroll, arrange transport o Recruit and induct new starters o Process payroll and deal with any pay queries o Manage application process to ensure great candidate experience From July 2013 to January 2014 (7 months) Staffing Manager @ o Staffing Manager for Sandown Park & Epsom Downs racecourses o Responsible for the staffing of non-racing events and race meetings at both sites including Christmas parties at Epsom Downs with approximately 1000 covers per night; the Epsom Derby with 900 casual staff both days; Sandown’s Tingle Creek Festival with 350 staff each day (£60,000 budget) and Kempton Park’s William Hill Festival with also 350 staff each day o Payroll of all casual staff including chefs and dealing any queries that arise o Recruitment, managing applications as well as organising and conducting interviews for all new casual members of staff. o Network with universities, colleges and websites to advertise for casual staff o Assist in producing documents including management briefing packs, health and safety, uniform standards and fire evacuation procedure packs From August 2011 to July 2013 (2 years) Master's degree, Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General @ Kingston University From 2012 to 2014 Bachelor's degree, Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies, Business and Enterprise Management - 2:1 @ Sheffield Hallam University From 2007 to 2011 13 GCSEs (A*-C), Maths (A), English (BB) @ Soham Village College From 2000 to 2005 Kelly Hastings-Trew is skilled in: Employee Relations, Recruiting, Talent Management, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Performance Management, Applicant Tracking Systems, HR Policies, Sourcing, Employer Branding, Workforce Planning, Temporary Placement, Time Management, New Hire Orientations
