I am a UX Design Alumna from General Assembly with a background in visual design and visual storytelling. After graduating from UC Berkeley I worked for Minted doing production and quality control work. I eventually realized that while I love visual design I also really missed the strategic thinking I had to do for my Sustainable Design minor. I decided to go back to school for UX design since it would allow me to get back into more strategic design work. It helped that UX combined several of my interests like psychology, visual design, industrial design, technology, and scenario design.
I believe that design should center around user needs and if possible create a more joyful experience. My work is informed by user research and driven by my tenacious and detail-oriented personality. I'm based in the Bay Area and currently looking for opportunities.

UXDI Student @ The User Experience Design Immersive is designed to have students living and breathing user experience design. This 10-week immersive course prepares students to think like designers, and approach problems creatively in order to design the next generation of great apps, websites, and digital products. Some of the skills I learned here were User Resarch, Interaction and Interface Design, Wireframing, Prototyping and Testing, and Working with Clients.
Projects include:
HanaHaus | UI Strategist, UX Designer, Researcher (May 2015)
My Team and I created a reservation system that let customers efficiently book seats immediately or in advance, split costs with friends, pay for guests, and renew reservations. I facilitated all stages of design as well as making early stage wireframes and prototypes. I also researched the current state of user experience at HanaHaus and made a journey map showing pain points and opportunities for improvement.
Life Alert | UI Strategist, UX Designer, Presentation Designer, Researcher (April 2015)
My team and I redesigned the Life Alert App for people in their 20’s-30’s. I played a key role in the design phase by making the strategy behind the UI as efficient as possible and making most of the presentation. I conducted extensive research on the current state of Life Alert by interviewing users, creating personas, and creating a flow chart of Life Alert’s current state.
