Front End Web Developer @ From November 2015 to Present (2 months) London, United KingdomFront End Web Developer @ I worked with the ecommerce department in the web development team with designers, marketers, content and SEO managers, managing content for French Connection UK, US, CA and Great Plains. I ensured that all code was cross device and browser compatible, which was thoroughly tested by our department and company’s back-end agency for bugs and inconsistencies. I privately shared source with git version control and prototyped in jsFiddle, built emails set up via the SmartFocus campaign commander, built bespoke promotional features, updated text, imagery, styles, functions, Wordpress and Tumblr. My major projects have been updating the site’s category filter, store locator (not yet live) and making the country select (not yet live) visible for mobile users. An ongoing objective was refining page speed by cleaning code and compressing imagery and setting up promotion codes for discounts and free shipping in Microsoft’s Marketing Manager. I have proven myself to be a problem solver and good team player, dynamically facing new challenges every day, with the ability to communicate and translate technical vision and ideas with as much a perfectionist approach. I have also proven to adapt to working in an extremely busy environment by managing multiple workflows From September 2014 to October 2015 (1 year 2 months) London, United KingdomFreelance Web Developer @ As a member of the development team I worked closely with the senior designer and developer to help organise content for various websites and phone/tablet applications with WordPress and Intel XDK, using PHP, HTML5, CSS3 and AJAX. My responsibilities included designing webpages from scratch with client checklists, maintaining and compiling applications, loading applications onto the application store, contributing to design logic and making sure all websites turned out user intuitive. From June 2014 to July 2014 (2 months) Front End - UI/Web Developer @ I worked on projects such as building flat administration sites and responsive layouts for a few product-bundles. My team was required to design and build hand written, browser and device friendly responsive webpages at W3 standard from scratch, making sure they progressively enhance and gracefully degrade with CSS3/Sass and jQuery.
HTML5 & CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, OO JavaScript, jQuery, Responsive Web Design, Jade/Node.js, Adobe Creative Suite From January 2013 to April 2014 (1 year 4 months) User Interface/Web Developer @ For Intabet I worked on purely constructing modules and widgets for its online gaming platform using HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery, building bet-slips, tabs and accordions with tabular data of hypothetical live results and games that were soon to commence. Having no senior developer to guide me in this project has helped me utilise Stack Overflow as a good learning resource.
