Jon is a Regional Director working for AECOM with a number of responsibilities from project delivery to BIM-related activities across the UK and Europe. Prior to recently joining AECOM, he spent 13 years working with Arup and 14 years with a medium sized family consultancy.
Jon has over 25 years’ experience specialising in multidisciplinary building design. He has led the structural modelling teams on a wide variety of projects and has successfully collaborated with leading architects and clients. He has considerable experience working on complex structural steel, concrete and refurbishment projects.
Jon is also central to the development of BIM within AECOM and the industry.
I am particularly interested in finding new architectural partners who are looking to promote a more integrated multi-discipline approach to building designs. Such an approach allows those designs to be resolved faster and more effectively. Being able to collaborate more closely across a wide range of skills, sharing knowledge and having a passion for a sustainable built environment allows us to be in a very strong position to deliver some amazing projects. I also want to find partners who are willing to explore the utilisation of BIM and digital technology to improve the quality of design deliverables.
Therefore, I am very interested to explore such opportunities to collaborate on smaller to medium sized projects which includes high end residential where are greater level of coordination and detail may be required
Key projects Jon has been involved in are Serpentine Pavilion 2008 (Frank Gehry), Heathrow Terminal 5, The Pinnacle Tower, Qatar National Museum, Leadenhall Tower, Fitzroy Street, More London and Chiswick Park.
Jon is also a Fellow with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
