In January 2005, John joined the HOLT European Sales team, taking primary responsibility for clients in Germany and London. John’s fluency in the German language, and detailed understanding of the HOLT framework made him an excellent fit for the German speaking market. John continues to play an active role in ongoing model improvement round-table discussions. He spent the next 18 months helping to build and maintain the HOLT Database. In 2002, HOLT Value Associates was acquired by Credit Suisse First Boston. As a result of the acquisition, John switched roles to the HOLT Model Improvements Team, where he worked directly under Bartley Madden, one of the founding partners of HOLT Value Associates, and author of the book CFROI Investing.
