McNeil specializes in marketing over-the-counter consumer pharmaceutials. Led consumer marketing and built major brands, such as Children's Motrin, Children's Tylenol, and adult Tylenol. Launched Children's Motrin to the consumer market, after FDA approval for a prescription to over-the-counter switch. Designed and executed all facets of integrated brand marketing campaign. Managed across 3 distinct sales & marketing channels -- consumers (the end users), doctors (the key influencers / recommenders), and the retail trade across food, drug and mass-merchandising merchants (channel customers). Children's Motrin beat the competition to market by 12 months, and generated $50 million in first-year revenue. His team won the distinguished Johnson & Johnson Achievement Award for the successful product launch. First started working at J&J as a summer intern, while studying at the Harvard Businesss School (HBS). Then led a team of HBS students on field study there in this second year, developing strategies for Tylenol to combat the private-label competitive threat from retailers like Walmart, Costco and Walgreens.
