John’s focus is on helping firms significantly reduce expenses, streamline operations and service provider relationships resulting in tangible improvements in expenses and returns, service levels, accuracy, operations and risk.
John served as Managing Director of Sourcing and Vendor Management for BlackRock, with responsibility for over $1 Billion in global expenses. Prior to that, John was the Chief Procurement Officer at AllianceBernstein with complete responsibility for global sourcing, procurement, vendor risk, supplier management and category management while overseeing $750 million in general and fund related expenses. Before his CPO position, he was a founder and partner of Park Lexington / StoverDowns, a strategic sourcing consultancy for financial services clients including AllianceBernstein, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, Westwater, Coqui Capital and the NJTP. John has also served as a sourcing manager for Axa Financial covering general and financial operation operations.
John has an MBA in Finance from New York University and a B.S. in Marketing and Business Law from The Pennsylvania State University.
