• Won multi-million dollar advisory fee to assist a TPG/Bain portfolio company spin-out its internal investment team as an independent fund franchise in anticipation of company’s future initial public offering.
Distribution/Investor Coverage:
• Successfully closed over 25 capital-raising initiatives totaling over $50 billion, ranging in size between $300 million to $8 billion.
• Initiated coverage of the Australian and New Zealand institutional investor market and successfully penetrated the market by raising approximately $650 million in under 18 months.
• Secured a $500 million private equity commitment from an investor, the largest single commitment ever sourced by Citi. From March 2005 to 2010 (5 years) New York, NYPartner, Sponsorship Investments @ Committed $2.25 billion of sponsorship or “cornerstone” capital to 14 private equity funds and nine hedge funds in exchange for enhanced economics and governance rights, generating over a 2.0x return.
