I remember the day my father came home with a new computer and an AOL start-up disk. It wasn't long after the the screeches and beeps of the early 1990s dial-up modem became commonplace in our family room that I hopped onto Geocities to try my hand at learning HTML. After a few short years (when I was still in my teens), I had purchased my-name-dot-com and published a couple of freelance website projects. I also had a position working part-time as the webmaster for KUMM, the student-run radio station at the University of Minnesota, Morris. During my five years at The University of Minnesota, Morris I gained more experience in website development. I worked throughout my college career at the local Internet Service Provider, and after graduating from college I took a part-time position as the manager at the local food co-op, Pomme de Terre Foods. I incorporated Iceberg Web Design in 2005 as a way to advance my career, drive my passion for website development, and help other small business owners succeed by creating a professional online appearance. While Iceberg was in its early stages, I continued to worked as the only employee/manager at Morris's volunteer-run food co-op. The managerial and business experience I gained through this position was invaluable, and in 2008 I made the decision to turn Iceberg into a full-time career. Iceberg Web Design's mission is to be a leader in website development while offering unique, professional, and one-on-one communication with clients. We are currently located in Anoka, Minnesota and the business has been steadily growing. In early 2014, we took on a new Sales & Marketing employee.
