This is my senior design project for my Undergraduate Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. It is a mobile app with cloud support (the part that I do). The app leverages sensors in the smart phone and uses a machine learning algorithm to determine where on the body it is and what activity the user is doing. This is then used for calorie expenditure, exercises performed, duration, etc. The user also enters diet information through the mobile app interface. All of this is stored on a server via an API and MongoDB. It is also displayed through Angular application, which is the part of the project I am responsible for. I am using a MEAN stack. I am building a REST API that uses basic auth (Node.js) and a website (Angular) to support visualization of data, permission levels based on the type of user, and account information.
