Director of Quality @ Responsible for the strategic and tactical vision of a multi-faceted Quality Assurance team, including UAT, Functional and Regression QA, DevOps, Automation and Release Management. My first key initiative I completed was the design and implementation of the Continuous Delivery solution for our products. From October 2014 to Present (1 year 3 months) Senior Automation QA Engineer @ Primary responsibility was to support the API agile team in a quality-engineering role. Along with my standard QA responsibilities, I introduced the team to User Acceptance testing and to a standard REST API tool; aiding my team to improve our success rate by 23%. From April 2014 to September 2014 (6 months) Quality Assurance Manager @ Responsible for standardizing QA test policies, procedures, environments and their synchronization with production systems. Primary focus was the design and implementation of a Continuous Integration system focusing on integration and functional test automation. From November 2012 to April 2014 (1 year 6 months) Lead Quality Assurance Engineer @ Primary responsibility was to support an agile team in a quality-engineering role. Primary role was to participate in the design, development and maintaining of a functional test suite which supported the acceptance criteria for all user stories for each sprint. Assisted with the implementation and articulation of testing strategies, test automation and test engineering technologies. Furthermore, I mentored junior engineers on functional testing and JAVA development best practices. Created new jobs within Hudson to include the new automation acceptance tests as part of multiple applications build processes. From May 2011 to August 2011 (4 months) Software Quality Assurance Engineer @ Interact with Business Analysts and Developers in requirements analysis, design reviews, testing and documentation for application developed in Agile environment using the Rally project management tool. Responsible for iteration and release smoke testing, functional testing and user interface testing of the Hoover’s Inc. web application. From June 2010 to July 2011 (1 year 2 months) Senior Java Application Developer @ Responsible for strategic development and implementation of new software features, system design, code review, and test analysis. Pioneered the integration of new software technologies within the existing product. From September 2007 to June 2010 (2 years 10 months) Senior Consultant @ Part of the Professional Services Group to architect and develop client DSL CD and J2EE web-based activation applications by utilizing Motive's proprietary software. Involved in all roles of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), such as writing draft version of statement of works, reviewing pre-release client versions, executing the initial QA entrance meeting, and deploying the application into production. From June 2004 to June 2007 (3 years 1 month) Senior Consultant @ Developed the billing process for Kinko's retail stores while working in the Product Services Group. Saved/retrieved customer's printing order information in the database, exported/imported global store data from web services to the local database, and generated numerous objects on the server for use within the client applications. Researched and designed the bar codes to be used for tracking and displaying information. From December 2003 to June 2004 (7 months) Senior Consultant @ Assisted in the development of a multiple quote auto insurance web application for the state of Florida based on the currently designed framework while assisting Team Lead in creating an insurance claims web application built within a Struts framework, including the Tiles component and Hibernate. From August 2003 to December 2003 (5 months) Primary Consultant @ Collaboratively designed and architected the application business and functional requirements for the entire unemployment claims application and for the initial claims process utilizing Versata’s software design process and proprietary software Led a team to develop and complete the initial claims application process while mentoring state employees on application development requirements using rapid development and object oriented programming in Java and the Versata applications. From September 2002 to August 2003 (1 year) Principle Consultant @ Assisted the Fiserv Team with complex development procedures within the Versata environment. Mentored staff on how to install and implement "Optimizeit", a code tracing tool to assist with performance tuning. From January 2002 to July 2002 (7 months) Senior Consultant @ Member of the Professional Services Group. Recognized as Primary Architect to assist customers in deciphering and modeling their business and functional requirements, transposing the business cases into Versata business rules, and determining how the Versata development lifecycle and Architecture can optimally implement their business needs in their expected software application. Assisted principle consultants with all aspects of the Versata development lifecycle and architecture developing web-based production applications for clients. From September 2000 to January 2002 (1 year 5 months) Application Developer @ Maintained the patient management web applications utilized by all TLC Eye centers for entering and managing patient data. Created new applications as per new requirements of the company, including a patient search engine using JavaScript, SQL stored procedures within ASP pages for entering procedure and post procedure information.
