Before joining JM, Jeff started and ran the US practice for Renovata Partners, a boutique firm headquartered in London. Prior to executive search, Jeff spent over 15 years as a software and Internet executive and investor. He was Chief Revenue Officer of media software startup Sphere, acquired by AOL (and subsequently merged with Outbrain), where he served as a Vice President. He was a Venture Partner at New Atlantic Ventures (formerly DFJ New England and Draper Atlantic). He also served in executive roles at Virgin Management, Real Networks, and Kozmo.com.

Other investors include First Round Capital, AOL Ventures, and a Who's Who of super angels in NYC and the Valley.
* MODA OPERANDI, the first online luxury fashion retailer to allow members to pre-order tomorrow’s styles today. Just raised $10M Series B led by NEA. The founders have a powerful combination of relevant business background (Gilt Groupe, McKinsey, HBS, fashion private equity, partnered with ex-CEO of Bloomingdales) and fashion relationships (Vogue, Anna Wintour, and all the top designers). From 2010 to April 2010 (less than a year) Chief Revenue Officer & AOL Vice President @ Sold, negotiated and closed publisher distribution deals for 3 Billion monthly pageviews and 500,000 sites. Partners include CNN, Wall Street Journal, Major League Baseball, AOL, Reuters, CBS, NBC, US News, Forbes, Time, College Sports TV, VH1, Washington Post, WordPress and many more.
