Discovery is the timely delivery of interesting and wanted information, even if a recipient is not searching for it. Effective discovery has always enabled us to survive. The world around us offers many threats & opportunities. Our eyes evolved to take in massive amounts of information. Our brains evolved to instantly seek interesting patterns and react to them. We survive because we notice what might be interesting – ignoring most everything else.
Discovery Patterns has been an innovator and thought leader in Unstructured Big Data Analytics for over 10 years. Our context and discovery engines enable our clients to make better decisions. Our proprietary streaming analytics discover the trends, news, blogs, videos, social media, patterns and other unstructured information a client needs to know in spite of confusing noise and overwhelming volumes. Our cloud-based network operates 24x7 for worldwide clients. We deliver real-time insights with simple text alerts and intriguing 1D, 2D and 4D visualizations.
I am a veteran entrepreneur who, for the past ten years, invented many pattern discovering algorithms and visualizations for unstructured insights. As a young engineer at a modal analysis company, I was able to see the power of combining computer analysis methods with visual animations to solve problems composed of many details and hidden patterns.
Previous to Discovery Patterns, I was an engineer who invented manufacturing processes used by multinational electronics companies like Motorola and Intel. As a P&L unit manager, I was also responsible for the market success of my inventions. In my career, closed-loop manufacturing gave me crucial insights about separating what is pure from what is contaminated. Or in the parallel of trend discovery, what is relevant versus noise.
