Prior to being bit by the entrepreneurial bug, Harold honed his skills as a senior level executive with more than 14 years of industry experience at top tier organizations. Previous to the creation of ChizComm, Harold held the role of Vice President of Marketing Services at Spin Master Ltd. and Vice President of Marketing at MEGA Brands. Harold's vast marketing knowledge and solid communications capabilities have shaped him into an inspirational leader and accomplished business owner.
With an extensive background in PR, digital marketing, social media, promotions, events and product launches, Harold’s boisterous and inventive approach allows him to share the excitement with partners and clients, all while developing out of the box marketing communication strategies that drive growth, garner attention and make some noise.
A respected and esteemed voice in the kids space, Harold has served on a number of Toy Industry Association committees in addition to having spent six years as the Official Spokesperson for the Canadian Toy Association. Harold is comfortable in front of crowds big and small and loves to strategize best practices for consumer engagement.
As a busy father of 4, Harold is never too tied up to stop and play with his kids Brandon, Eric, Matthew and Nicole as they bring joy and provide inspiration each and every day. In his spare time Harold is an active volunteer with Make-A-Wish Canada’s Toronto and Central Ontario Chapter.

Created a superior digital marketing and social media team, creating a digital marketing campaign in 2012 for Air Hogs Battle Tracker that resulted in online sales increasing by +300% and selling out online, in turn resulting in reorders and incremental shipments of approximately $1M in December alone
5 years of consecutive growth in media impressions for Spin Master Brands. Total number of impressions made through traditional PR, blogger outreach and social media in excess of 1.5 billion

Developed key promotional programs for Might Beanz with Subway Restaurants and DANONE Yogurt that resulted in extending the brands life by 12 months increasing sales by 25% or approximately $20M
Launched 12 North American brand tours resulting in over 100 million impressions through PR, local events and retail promotions
Created and implemented the worldwide Bakugan launch that included cross-country sampling events, game days and overall brand marketing experience. During peak years, global sales of Bakugan product was $1Billion annually.
