Director of Sales and Marketing-Oil and Natural Gas Equipment Division @ -Working with the newly formed Oil & Natural Gas Equipment Division to develop Graco's business with new products and technologies that have not previously existed within the company for sales into the oil and natural gas market.
-This exciting new initiative will be accomplished by taking these new products into the new markets and geographies . These products will have been gained through internal organic development and/or acquisition. From April 2014 to Present (1 year 9 months) Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul AreaBusiness Development Manager EMEA @ •Based in Switzerland with travel throughout EMEA.
•Direct management of Divisional business over the assignment , during specific annual periods in countries of responsibility which included UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Central East Europe, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Russia and CIS countries, Baltic countries , Balkan countries, Mongolia, Greece and Cyprus.
•Responsibility of working with entire Divisional team to develop channels and users for the business in other various geographies and countries in EMEA for automotive, industrial and mining markets.
•Annual planning and strategy development with Divisional Management team
•Responsibility for launch implementation of key products such as “state of the art” fluid management systems throughout EMEA . From January 2009 to March 2014 (5 years 3 months) Director of Sales and Marketing @ •Annual planning for the business setting realistic and achievable sales growth strategies and targets.
•Management of departmental expense budget.
•Management of the North American sales team of independent sales agencies and direct sales force in the US, Canada, and Mexico for the Automotive Aftermarket business and the Fuel Products business.
•Management of the Divisional PMG Marketing Department for new product development projects, literature and advertising, business support.
•Responsiblity for large key national account customers
•Joint efforts with the Graco Latin American and Asia Pacific sales groups and teams to develop the business throughout those regions in various markets including Automotive Aftermarket, Industrial, and in niche markets such as mining (primarily through distribution). From October 2007 to December 2008 (1 year 3 months) Director of Sales @ •Annual planning and implementation of all goals to the business expectations.
•Management of three distinct businesses for a period of time after acquisitions – Automotive Aftermarket, Industrial Lubrication and Fueling Products - within the Division in North America. Each business had a different sales force for a total of 45 independent sales agents, 20 direct District Managers and Regional Managers combined and 3 Field Support Engineers.
•Active participation in two acquisitions resulting in significant additional revenues for the Division.
•Management of over 1200 distributors of various types for the Automotive Aftermarket, Industrial and Fuel Products businesses for the Division
•Responsibility for large key national account customers including massmerchandisers, fast lube chains, car and truck dealer OEM programs.
•Joint efforts with the Sales and Marketing Directors in S. America and Asia Pacific to help develop customers,channels and markets in the regions. From March 1995 to September 2007 (12 years 7 months)
