Vytrace is developing an automated continuous highly accurate bedside glucose monitor that is highly responsive to blood glucose change so that clinicians can immediately treat patients with insulin in the critical care setting. • Merged the LLC into a "C" corporation which we completed quickly to position the Company for raising capital from VC’s and Angel groups. • Spearheaded the formation of the new company, election of officers, equity distribution, and Board of Directors through active leadership and task management in preparation for fund raising. • Raised initial round of $455K with a target $1.5M through multiple presentations to angel groups, early stage VC’s, Life Science Greenhouse Incubators, and Companies. From 2008 to 2010 (2 years) Pittsburgh, PAPresident, Independent Consultant @ G-TEK, LLC Independent consultant for medical and surgical device companies focusing primarily on sales, marketing, business development, product development, and general management.
