Before the group went into administration there were plans in place to work once a week with the regional buyer to learn from him and do what i now do with Elan Homes. From July 2008 to November 2008 (5 months) Administrative Assistant @ First job within construction taken on initially as an admin assistant looking after group directors before progressing to starting minor works for the group procurement manager. In my time as admin assistant I was able to cut cost of stationary within the group by over 50% (with the guidance of the group MD). Later on Itthen progressed to inputting orders onto the finance system and looking at rebates with the procurement manager.
