e) Auditing structural engineering designs conducted for Anglo business units by outside engineering companies. This is to ensure that these designs are in accordance with general guidelines and standards as well as with Anglo specific guidelines.
f) Liaising with various industrial institutions in the structural engineering (e.g. South African Bureau of Standards, Southern African Institute of Steel Construction etc.) to ensure that Anglo American interests are considered in any initiatives and developments conducted by these institutions.
