Coordinator, Events and Exhibition Services @ Montreal’s convention centre, the Palais des congrès, is located in the city’s downtown. It’s the second largest reception and dining venue in Canada. Covering more than 500,000 square feet (51,000 m2) with 113 rooms and halls, the convention centre is equipped with a kitchen area of over 18,000 square feet, capable of serving more than 6,000 guests at a sitting.
EVENTS COORDINATOR
- Coordinate planned services during the holding of events.
- Assist the client in the monitoring of commitments made by the internal and external suppliers (design, audiovisual, catering, building services, reception, etc.).
- Inspect and control the exhibition rooms to ensure that compliance of facilities and required services are delivered, charged and used according to scenarios.
- Ensure that facilities are safe and comply with the rules and guidelines.
- Evaluate, process and ensure, during the event, monitoring additional requests according to established guidelines.
- Inform all stakeholders of changes to the script and impact on business processes.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and address complaints, if any.
- Write a report on the observations noted during the event for transmission in charge of event management.
EXHIBITION SERVICES COORDINATOR
- Ensure the coordination of services (planned and unplanned) during the exhibition as part of event.
- Perform pre-event and post-event period, opening, closing, processing and validation of orders for the following services: electricity, plumbing, telecommunications, stand cleaning, handling, hanging / laying teaches development and others.
- Maximising the sale of services to exhibitors and sponsors.

Promoted to Manager of IT and Business Analysis in June of 2011 due to extensive knowledge of Serivice Delivery and Recruiting Operations from a process and systems stand point.
My mandate is to streamline all our different systems into a fully integrated one.
Some of these special projects include:
-Complete BullHorn applicant system overhaul to integrate online time tracking and the retirement of our in-house application
-Developped and lauched a new online registration that allows our independant contractors across Canada a completely self-serve, onboarding, industry training and certifications process. Background checks, signature of contracts and submittal of all required paperwork is now fully automated.
-Create and implement an Employee Rewards Program based on performances, skills and certifications and customer satisfaction.
-Implement and PDA (intelligent phone) based work order to allow service technicians Nationwide to update their service tickets "real-time".
-Complete overhaul of our call dispatch system and our nationwide territories to maximize service response times and minimize travel time between clients. This will increase the number of serviced clients and reduce mileage costs to our service providers.
Workflow analysis and business process efficiency plans implemented for:

Was able to identify areas of improvement and present a corrective action plan to streamline our processes. Also developed an on going measurement plan to ensure newly implemented workflows show a constant increase in efficiencies.
