In 2006 my wife and I moved back to Michigan for new career opportunities and because of a desire to raise our family in the mid-west.
With Envirotronics I handled both domestic and international sales. I managed sales agents around the world and traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia. It is great to be back in the manufacturing world after a stint in the wacky world of franchising. With Barnum I get to help customers solve problems with factory controls and automation. When someone asks what I do, I ask them "have you seen the TV show How it's Made? We help factories like those automate production." Covering the lake shore in west michigan means I drive a lot, but I am home with my family every night which is much better than being in a hotel room across the world.
