In Dan’s current role he leads teams responsible for the negotiation of strategic outsourcing deals across the human resources terms and conditions with their follow on integrations post signing. He additionally leads global acquisition integrations along with reciprocal divestiture and reverse outsourcing /repatriation outbound deal transitions.
Dan began his IBM career in Somers, NY, in 1999 as a Senior Human Resources Partner for Software Sales and Marketing. He then moved into more progressively complex roles within IBM including: Corporate Development Program Director, Human Resources, covering mergers, acquisitions and divestitures in Armonk, NY, then Rochester, MN, Site Human Resources Manager, providing HR Team support for a 4,500 person IBM development and manufacturing location, Director, Talent Management for the Systems & Technology Group/Research/Globally Integrated Support Functions, Director, Human Resources, IBM Research in Yorktown Heights, NY, and most recently Director, Talent - Global Technology Services.
Prior to joining IBM, Dan held various positions as Human Resources Generalist and Regional Human Resources Manager for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. located at sites in Calvert City, KY, and Houston, TX.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Labor and Industrial Relations from University of Rhode Island.
Additionally, Dan served in the active duty military as a United States Naval Officer. As a Surface Warfare Officer, he served aboard the USS Thorn (DD 988), a Spruance Class Destroyer, homeported out of Charleston, SC, and on shore command at the Surface Warfare Officers School Command, Newport, RI, teaching engineering.

He is married with two children and lives in Connecticut.
