I managed digital development and technology at Real and Smooth Radio. The role entails:
- Managing the internal development team
- Specifying, planning, scheduling and delivering projects utilising the internal development team and external partners
- Finding and working with external partners including freelancers, contractors and agencies

Contracted to manage and improve the hosting services provided by Invision Power Services, also provided some development services. The role included:
- Day to day system administration of around 200 servers and 24/7 on-call duties.
- Automating processes within system administration.
- Customer support for hosting.
- Development of a new hosting management panel, allowing better server monitoring, anomaly alerts, account management and server control.
- Led development of a point release of the company's IP.Blog product, improving usability and adding a number of social features.
I also designed and developed the company's free to all customers IP.SEO application, which improved the search engine performance of IP.Board and provided some search performance reporting. Handled all aspects of web development for Media Wow. Involved in the whole process from pitch, to requirements analysis, design, specification, development and ongoing management. I was also in charge of system administration.

- New web site for City Car Club.
- A range of consistent new web sites for all Niagara Healthcare Group companies, supporting an ongoing SEO campaign.

Working as part of the research and development team, my role covered several distinct areas, including:
- Building a large search data analysis system. Had a database over 3TB in size, running across 50+ servers. Tracked billions of distinct pieces of data, analysing tens of gigabytes of data every day.
- Public web applications for pay-per-click advertising tracking.
- Internal productivity, insight and management tools.

Working in HR Systems, currently technical lead on the company's employee engagement survey. Other parts of the role include technical consulting on projects and development of Windows and Intranet based applications. Worked on the Norwich Union UK intranet team, doing various roles including account management for the RAC, project leading for various systems and development.
Development work includes HTML, CSS, Javascript, ASP and ASP.NET. From March 2007 to December 2007 (10 months) Freelance Web Developer @ I worked freelance full time from January 2004 to March 2007, at the time primarily doing web design and development. The work ranged from building my own content management system, to designing forum themes for international record labels. I also wrote, with a partner, an article management system that was used internally by NASA's jet propulsion lab.
