From August 2001 to January 2003 (1 year 6 months) Research Analyst @ Programmer on a 4 person project team developing a company standard Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for Procter & Gamble’s analytical laboratories. The LIMS was built using proprietary software for the interface with a Sybase SQL Anywhere database and various data acquisition tools written in Visual Basic. * Developed a bug reporting database in PHP/MySQL. * Developed laboratory instrument data acquisition interfaces in Visual Basic and Perl. * Developed the set of Crystal Reports for the LIMS including optimizing the database queries * Provided key input on the design of the system as a former chemist. * Managed the deployment and validation of the LIMS in each laboratory according to CFR21 part 11, including installation, setup and training.
