Our team was also responsible for the print ads and many collateral projects for the non-food departments of Kroger Marketplace locations nationwide.
Primary participant in brand-building campaigns for Fred Meyer Rewards, Fred Meyer Community Rewards, Fuel Discounts, Senior & Military Discount programs, fresh/Northwest foods, and multiple holiday campaigns.
A key responsibility of my position was refining our tone and approach for email marketing and social media engagement. This task was more of a challenge with the company's lack of a significant ecommerce presence. Yet despite that handicap, our emails consistently maintained open and click-thru rates significantly higher than industry averages, and our Facebook followers grew to 178,000+ since inception in 2010.
In addition, I helped support FMconnect (an online customer service panel that provides customer insights for Fred Meyer – honored as Vision Critical’s 2014 Panel of the Year for North America) as well as internal associate communication programs.
I also enjoyed helping set strategic and tactical marketing direction for the company, and exploring how to improve and add efficiency to our work processes. Was a lead participant in overhauling several work processes to help the advertising team efficiently handle a project load that grew over 55% from 2011-2015. Ecommerce project: one of the Project Leads during entire process of creating a complete online shopping, content management and fulfillment solution for Fred Meyer/Alaska region. Responsibilities included requirement gathering, proposal development, system planning, managing interface design, managing up to 16 contractors doing content development for a 50,000+ product catalog, user interface & functional system testing, and ongoing content management.
FMinfo: initiated and managed a complete intranet redesign that allowed 60+ people throughout Fred Meyer to perform content management for individual department sub-webs.
