•Travis Air Force Base School Age Facility, Fairfield, California. School-Age Facility with 2 activity areas, a multi-purpose/gymnasium, administrative areas, a kitchen, and outdoor activity areas.
•PMB-DGS/California Department of Veterans Affairs 150 Bed Skilled Nursing Home in Redding, California. Design-Build with Clark Construction. Project supports four categories of care, Retirement Care for the Elderly (RCFE) and Skilled Nursing (SNF), both standard and with specialized memory care. (OSHPD)
•Starbuck’s Interiors renovation projects. From January 2010 to January 2013 (3 years 1 month) Project Manager @ In addition to my role as Manager of Engineering, I performed full services Project Management duties for several projects.
•Cannon Air Force Base Dorm 1155 & 1159 Renovation, Clovis, New Mexico. Renovation of Dormitory Building #1155 and 1159. A pair of three story buildings of approximately 32,200 square feet, each with 68 dormitory rooms for airmen, offices for CAFB housing staff, and common lounge areas and laundry rooms.
•Camp Roberts Utilities Modernization – Phase 1, Camp Roberts, California. Utility infrastructure replacement and upgrades in the Main Cantonment area of the base including medium voltage overhead primary distribution.
•Los Alamitos Army National Guard Readiness Center, Los Alamitos, California. The facility is a two story Readiness Center complex with training rooms, classrooms, offices, conference rooms, gym, locker rooms, kitchen and dining facilities.
•MATES (Mobilization Training Equipment Site) Vehicle Exhaust System Addition, Ft. Irwin, California. Project included the addition of 24 tank exhaust hose reels, 6 exhaust fans, high temperature duct work, and adapters for the Abrams and Bradley tanks as well as recovery vehicles. From October 2007 to January 2013 (5 years 4 months) Orange County, California AreaElectrical Engineer/Project Manager @ In addition to my role as Lead Electrical Engineer, I performed full services Project Management duties for several projects. Developed project proposals, scope of work documents, and project schedules and staffing plans while also acting as the electrical engineer of record.
•John Wayne Airport Terminal "C" - Santa Ana, CA. New Terminal C and renovations to Terminals A and B. Design work included ticketing counters, Common Use Passenger Processing systems, baggage handling systems, TSA Passenger Screening, and Concession Marketplace.
•Riverside Community Hospital, CT Scan Equipment Replacement, Riverside, California. Replacement of an existing CT Scanner, including OSHPD submittal.
•Beale AFB Medical-Dental Clinic Renovation and Addition, Marysville, California. A 57,400-square-foot renovation and an 8,500-square-foot addition.
•PMB-DGS/Metro State Hospital, Norwalk, CA. A 29,000sqft central Cook-Chill kitchen building and renovation of six satellite kitchen and dinning areas located within the existing housing units. (OSHPD)
•RTC Sunset Maintenance Facility, Las Vegas, NV; A new 36.5 acre transit maintenance facility for to support 120 fixed-route and 45 para-transit coaches, including 50 double-deck buses. The project included 8 buildings - Maintenance, Administration with a 2,000sqft data center, Para-transit, FOC, Fueling, Fare, Bus Wash, and Storage.
•Scholle Seven Story Office Building, Newport Beach, CA. Engineering both the core and shell and for a 240,000sqft office building.
•Sempra Headquarters Data Center, San Diego, CA. An enclosed 3,500-square-foot data center and electrical room within Sempra Energy's 20-story high-rise corporate headquarters.
•Pharmaceutical Laboratory Fit-Out, Floors 1 & 2, Thousand Oaks, California. A 60,000 square-foot laboratory project including areas for metabolism, immunochemistry, protein, structural characteristics, particulates, small molecule, and in-vivo laboratories. From December 2001 to October 2007 (5 years 11 months) Orange County, California AreaElectrical Engineer @ Electrical Designer supporting engineering work for various clients and projects, including:
• Intel Corporation FAB 22: Start-up and Commissioning, Chandler, AZ. Provided eight months of on-site engineering support for start-up and commissioning efforts. Manufacturing Support building houses the 120,000-SF computer control room and 240,000 SF of office space. Fab and Bridge buildings are comprised of 150,000 SF of cleanroom space for microchip manufacturing and more than 200,000 SF of Sub-Fab support facilities. Provided peer review of power flow simulation database (DAPPER software). Performed load flow analysis for more than 1000 panels and breaker coordination studies. Participated in planning and development of procedures for shakedown tests of Emergency and UPS power systems.
• Lockheed Martin Aeronautical, Palmdale, CA. Project included low-voltage power distribution, telecom, security and lighting designs for an existing 10,000-square-foot manufacturing space for equipment relocation and a 2,500-square-foot building addition at client's SkunkWorks facility.
• Pacific Bell: Pronto, Costa Mesa, CA. Provided low-voltage power distribution design including power meter pedestal, for underground Controlled Environment Vaults (CEVs) to house DSL hub equipment.
• SR Technics Aircraft Assembly Facility Conversion, Palmdale, CA. Aircraft hangar conversion from non-fueled classification, to fueled aircraft handling to meet NFPA 409, including complete Class I, Division 1 and 2 electrical system classifications. Hangar was converted to allow for DC-10 conversion from passenger to cargo use. This required low-voltage power distribution and lighting design, along with Title 24 Energy Code compliance analysis for the hangar, hazardous material storage area, large machine shop, tool crib, warehouse, loading dock and office spaces. From June 2000 to December 2001 (1 year 7 months) Electrical Designer/Project Manager @ Electrical Designer supporting engineering work for various clients and projects, including:
•AMC Theatres, Nationwide; Project Manager / Electrical Engineer. Projects were for motion picture exhibitor that was building new 12-30 screen theatres, ranging from 78,000 square feet to 180,000 square feet, during a rapid expansion phase. Provided low-voltage power distribution, general interior and exterior lighting, programmable dimming system, lighting UPS system (Inverter) and kitchen low-voltage power distribution designs for locations across the country (Downtown Disney 12 - Anaheim CA (Project Manager); Planet Movies 30 - Easton, OH (Project Manager); Forum 30 - Sterling Heights, MI; Palm Promenade 24 Chula Vista, CA; AMC 30 at The Block Orange, CA; River Park 20 Spokane, WA; Deer Valley 30 Phoenix, AZ; Katy Mills 20 Katy, TX; and Concord Mills 24 Concord, NC.
•The Masters College, Santa Clarita, CA. Project was for a new, 29,000-square-foot performing arts center on campus that required low-voltage power distribution, general interior and exterior lighting designs and Title 24 Energy Code compliance analysis, as well as coordinated design efforts with specialty theatrical audio, stage lighting and acoustical consultants.
•USC International-Themed Residential College, Los Angeles, CA. Provided lighting and Title 24 Energy Code compliance analysis for a new four-story, 136,000-square-foot dormitory with dining and laundry facilities, as well as low-voltage kitchen power distribution design.
•Macerich: Westside Pavilion Mall, Los Angeles, CA. Project was for a 108,000-square-foot common area and food court lighting upgrade to this three-story indoor mall, as well as addition of new escalators and provisions for new cart style stores at several locations. Provided low-voltage normal and emergency power distribution along with Title 24 Energy Code compliance analysis. From May 1998 to June 2000 (2 years 2 months) Just About Everything @ Started out as staff memeber in high school, then worked as a manager in all of the San Diego locations at some point. I was then promoted to Senior Manager to help open the La Jolla 12 in 1995. The following year I was promoted to General Manager and tasked with opening the Mission Valley 20 in December of 1996. In 1997 I moved up to the West Division office in Los Angeles as the Regional Concession Manager assisting with their Mega-Plex expansion across the region.
