As the founder and President of Aresco, LP and Aresco Operating, my team and I have built a rapidly growing and accomplished exploration and production company engaged in developmental drilling, mineral leasing, and production acquisitions throughout Texas and New Mexico. In addition to sourcing and vetting new opportunities for growth, I currently manage our Working Interest drilling program positions, with joint operators and private capital partners, in active drilling projects in the Permian Basin, Eagle Ford Shale, and East Texas Woodbine. In recent years, I sourced, negotiated and closed oil and gas mineral leases and surface use agreements in the Eagle Ford shale with a combined value exceeding $50 million. Throughout my career, my focus has been heavily centered in the upstream arena and today I combine my operational expertise with my strong track record of identifying and securing highly profitable oilfield assets. Prior to founding Aresco, I served as V.P. of Operations for a South Texas natural gas producer as well as V.P of Brokerage Services for a Texas-based firm specializing in energy and oil field joint ventures. In these positions, my focus and responsibilities centered on capital acquisition as well as relationship management for numerous exploration projects with combined budgets exceeding $75 million.
