From July 2014 to July 2016 (2 years 1 month) Manufacturing Engineer @ Rudolph Technologies Rudolph Technologies is a global Semiconductor capital equipment company. I wore many hats at RTEC and really enjoyed my time as a manufacturing engineer. Many times I took several projects from concept, to design, to implementation to installation. Here are a few of my achievements:-Redesigned 1000+ parts, assemblies and bills of materials for mechanical, optical and electrical components-Wrote 190+ engineering change notices for implementation 1500+ of engineering, manufacturing or supplier driven requests, 900+ drawingsMajor Projects:-NanoPhotonics Acquisition and Manufacturing Transfer. I was a member of a team which handled the manufacturing transfer of NP (Germany) to Bloomington, MN. I organized and prepared over 2,000 part numbers for needed for the EDI and LSA builds before the transfer. Once the product was transferred, I was in charge of understanding, developing and improving the build, calibration and installation processes for NP’s products. The build to ship process was streamlined using organizational principles, and the timeframe was quickly reduced.-Redesign Projects for DFMA. I redesigned new versions of the skins for RTEC’s X-Tool and SWS. These updates reduced particle generation, lowered the manufacturing costs, increased the manufacturability and improved future field serviceability.
