Ben writes and speaks on the topics of social and peer-to-peer learning around the world, including making an appearance at TEDxWarwickED. He has written for four books in the last two years, published peer-reviewed academic papers and many magazine articles. He holds an MBA, is a Doctor of Engineering and is a Fellow of the Learning & Performance Institute.

My research resulted in the development of a new model for workplace eLearning, focusing on the importance of social context in an online learning experience. We developed the Curatr social eLearning platform to help execute the new approach and worked extensively in the field of gamification for the promotion of participation.
During this time I wrote two book chapters, the eLearning Guild's research report on social learning and a number of peer-reviewed journal articles. I was lucky enough to keynote at conferences in the UK, mainland Europe and USA. From February 2009 to May 2013 (4 years 4 months) Director @ Elected board member of the eLearning Network, a not-for-profit organisation with over 3000 associate members, providing inspiration, support and community to the Learning Technology industry in the UK. From November 2010 to October 2012 (2 years) Operations Director @ Founded the first physical office space for the company back in 2005 and helped grow the company over 5 years, acquiring 20 plus new key clients including NHS PCT's, Oxford University, Sharp Electronics, BP and many more. Grew turnover in excess of 100% and subsequently controlled costs and P&L during recession.
