I have a wide array of branding and marketing experience, including social media; public relations; brand management; corporate communications; community relations; fundraising; event planning; and consumer promotions. I’ve planned and produced all kinds of strategic content for websites; email campaigns; social media; blogs; and corporate intranet websites for some pretty awesome companies, including Smith College Executive Education for Women, MassMutual Financial Group, Carbonite online backup, and MFS Investment Management. But above all else, my true love is startup culture and strategic branding and I seek opportunities to help guide organizations to brand success.
In 2013 I led brand and business operations at an IT distribution startup in Springfield, Mass. As the first employee, I was brought on to manage the development and execution of the go-to-market, growth and brand strategy of a newly incorporated sales organization. I grew the company from the ground up, and learned a hell of a lot along the way. I also accomplished my personal goal of creating jobs in the Pioneer Valley.
I consult on strategic branding and communications for all kinds of organizations, including public school systems, government organizations, political campaigns, and startups. Branding is my idea of a good time.
I am also a certified SPIN instructor, as well as an advocate for complementary and integrative approaches to healing.
Recently, I started working with government officials to pass legislation guaranteeing the healthcare coverage for complementary and integrative healthcare approaches in Massachusetts. My own personal chronic pain story was featured in the December 2014 issue of Women’s Health Magazine.
