As a Dance/Theatre major in college I wanted to experiment with live multimedia productions so I took a one week intensive @ NYU in Final Cut Pro and was off and rolling. I spent the next three years freelancing at a mix of post-production shops here in NYC working on everything from national commercials to shorts/features to PSAs. In search for a home, I landed at a small tech company working as an account and project manager with retail, pharmaceutical, and financial services clients all over the country. I found myself in need of more techs to work on my projects, so I fell into recruiting, and the rest is history!! I’m a tech and creative geek. I can hold my own when talking to developers, enjoy helping designers improve their portfolio, and can talk all day about the latest trends in the digital space and beyond. And yes, I do cringe as a user when I try to open a website on my iPhone and it says to install Flash (insert face palm here.) Having been a freelancer, I know what it is like and enjoy being on the other side and helping people to work on great projects or find their next home. I love what I do and that definitely comes across to anyone who talks to me. I also enjoy a challenge and finding a solution.
