đź“– Summary
My day-to-day work involves collaborating with staff who teach / support learning (lecturers, librarians, technicians) to enhance their teaching practice with technology. This means I’m involved in staff development workshops, one to one consultations, awareness raising and promotional initiatives, researching the use of technology for teaching various disciplines, and implementing ways to help staff engage with effective pedagogies. At the heart of what I do is looking for ways to make teaching and learning better. I’m a qualified TEFL teacher, an experienced online tutor, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Outside of work I spend my time finding hidden parts of London on my bike, baking sourdough bread, sampling craft beers, live music, photographing post-war architecture and I'd also like to learn how to draw.
