I consider myself a problem solver, one who can add significant value to an organization. The problems I most often address are in the field of science because of on my technical background in engineering and mathematics. However, problem solving skills are applicable to any industry. Although my studies were in Electrical Engineering, my first job involved Aerodynamics at GE Aviation; my second job has involved Newtonian physics, dynamics, and even software at Allison Transmission. I view personal growth as a lifelong endeavor and have always enjoyed the opportunity to learn new skills.
With the help of the Kelley School of Business MBA program, I have added a formal business education to complement my engineering background. The ability to analyze and evaluate businesses within the framework of an overall strategy has created several new opportunities for me. Whether my role is as Supervisor of a development team, Vice President of my Fraternity, captain of a soccer team, Assistant Advisor to the 5,000 student Purdue University Fraternities and Sororities, or even Trainer for a group of under-nine boys, I have always been a leader and a motivator. Combine this with my aspirations for learning and solving problems, I make an impact in whatever I do.
