My name is Abigail Teetor and I am currently a Senior at Simmons College, majoring in Finance and Business Management. I am entering my last year of school in Boston after returning from a year studying in London and spending the summer interning at Ann Inc. in New York City. I plan to use this upcoming year to further develop my interests in international business, finance and multinational enterprises and to see how I can translate these into my future career.
Finance and Accounting Intern @ Gaining experience with QuickBooks and Great Plains software while working on accounts receivables, FY 2016 budget and payroll for multiple non-profits based in Boston. From September 2015 to Present (4 months) Greater Boston AreaFinancial Accounting Lab Instructor @ Teaching Excel skills including financial statement modeling & analysis, time value of money and ratio analysis, to students in Financial Accounting. Assisting the professor with grading and further explanation of subjects covered in class. From September 2015 to Present (4 months) Greater Boston AreaPlanning and Allocation Intern @ Working with the LOFT store planning & allocation team to analyze past sales, forecast buying trends and follow through the allocation process. Gaining advance Excel skills and experience in cross-functional teamwork.
Collaborating with 7 other Interns on a 10-week long project focusing on future growth of the Lou & Grey brand, which we will present to key leadership at the end of summer. From June 2015 to August 2015 (3 months) Retail Sales Associate @ Managing the front desk, assisting customers with purchases, exchanges, item holding and opening store credit cards. Gaining proficiency in various register functions, carrying out transactions both with credit and cash.

From September 2013 to May 2014 (9 months) Summer Camp Counselor @ Designed and instructed eight weeks of cheerleading and snorkeling classes for 150 girls ages 6-15 helping to reach character goals and teaching philosophies.
Supervised well being of four girls ages 10-11 as a cabin counselor. Dealt with disciplinary problems and mediated disputes.
