The Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative (Y2Y) is a joint Canada-U.S. not-for-profit organization that protects and connects habitat from Greater Yellowstone to the Yukon so that people and nature can thrive.
We have collaborated with more than 300 partners throughout the region – including local government and community groups, scientists and conservationists, Native American and First Nations communities, as well as ranchers and other landowners. Together, we work toward a unified vision for conserving this iconic and deeply interconnected landscape.
Y2Y is committed to a scientific approach to conservation, and is recognized as one of the leading mountain conservation initiatives in the world. Officially established in 2000, Y2Y has offices located in Canmore, Alberta, and Bozeman, Montana.
