With 235-acres of rides and slides, Worlds of Fun amusement park features over 100 rides, attractions and shows, including 14 world-class thrill rides, a huge PEANUTS-themed kids area and the Midwest's largest waterpark - Oceans of Fun. In September and October, Worlds of Fun hosts the Midwest’s largest Halloween event – Halloween Haunt, with daytime scare-free fun at the Great Pumpkin Fest.In 2017, Worlds of Fun debuted their all-new holiday event, WinterFest. This seasonal celebration transforms the park into a winter wonderland, featuring millions of twinkling lights, seasonal festivities and shows. 2018 marks the 45th-year anniversary of Worlds of Fun and will debut a new family attraction, Nordic Chaser.
