VSO School of Music

The VSO School of Music is one of North America's most unique community music schools. Offering instruction by professional performing musicians and educators in Early Years Learning, Classical, Jazz and World Music by a faculty of over 120 of the finest teachers and performers in Canada, the school welcomes students of all ages and stages to a state-of-the-art facility located next to the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver's vibrant downtown centre in British Columbia, Canada . Private music lessons, classes and ensembles in classical, jazz and world music traditions (Classical Indian and traditional Chinese Music Instruments ) are offered to students of all levels, from 3 months old to seniors. The 25M$ state-of-the-art purpose-built facility includes 18 acoustically separated teaching studios, large classrooms and computer listening stations, and one of Canada's finest intimate recital halls, Alan and Gwendoline Pyatt Hall.
