As the national tourism agency – a non-departmental public body funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), VisitEngland plays a unique role in developing English tourism through the building of new products, supporting business growth and informing industry with statutory research and insights and engagement activities through events and communications.We lead and facilitate on the three-year £40m Discover England Fund which is focused on developing England's tourism product, and we provide extensive support for the domestic tourism sector, through our business support hub, publications and resources, our Pink Book of Legislation, Quality Assessment Schemes and the annual VisitEngland Awards for Excellence.
