But it is a pride that comes from the fulfilment of a vision rather than a desire for corporate success. Vatech was established in early 1992 in South Korea and the Vatech & E-WOO group was formed in 2002. There are currently 8 branch offices and 17 technical support centres worldwide with 11 overseas offices in 9 countries throughout the Europe, Asia and North America. Vatech offers the most number of digital diagnostic systems 7 different dental CT models and 7 different panoramic X-ray systems and also develops and manufactures its own digital radiographic sensor, the most critical component of diagnostic X-ray systems. In 2007, Vatech brought 17" x 17" FPXD (Flat Panel X-ray Detector) into market with commercial implication of expanding the target market to include medical chest and veterinary X-ray market. UK branch office was established in late 2007 and you probably have noticed our significant growth for the last four years. Fundamental to the business philosophy was the need to take a long term approach. Products were not rushed on to the market for quick profit. Rather the view was taken that investment should be made (and maintained) in developing and utilising the highest standards of technology and linking these closely with R& D, people, quality control. It is testament to the validity of this policy that despite the deliberately slow start, demand rapidly grew on an ever increasing global scale.
