Val Verde Unified School District is located inthe heart of the Inland Empire, approximately72 miles east of Los Angeles. Neighboring thedistrict and its communities are March Air ForceBase and the Lake Perris recreational area.During the 2017-18 school year, the district’sschools served 20,245 studentsresiding in the rural and suburban communitiesof Perris, Moreno Valley, and portions ofunincorporated Riverside County. The districtcurrently operates a preschool, 12 elementaryschools, 4 middle schools, 2 comprehensivehigh schools, a student success academy, avirtual academy, and a continuation high school.
