Kansas City, Kansas is the third largest city in the state of Kansas and is the county seat of Wyandotte County. It is part of a unique consolidated city-county government known as the "Unified Government"(UG). 2015 census estimates puts the population at 151,306. Located on the eastern border of the State of Kansas, we are part of a greater metropolitan area of nearly two million people that includes Kansas City, Missouri, and suburbs on both sides of the state line. The city is situated at Kaw Point, which is the junction of the Missouri and Kansas rivers.
