UNC Charlotte School of Data Science

The Data Science Initiative at UNC Charlotte is an industry-university-state partnership, composed of personnel from the College of Computing and Informatics, the Belk College of Business, the College of Health and Human Services, and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. It is composed of four primary facets: applied and theoretical research with industry partners, interdisciplinary graduate degree programs in Health Informatics and in Data Science and Business Analytics, an innovative Executive Education program, and SOPHI a datalake supporting industry and campus research. The DSI brings academia and industry together to turn data into knowledge, and knowledge into insight to see what is possible in the new digital age.
