The NeuroMedical Center Clinic is celebrating its 40TH ANNIVERSARY as the South's largest, most recognized provider of comprehensive, multidisciplinary care in the neurosciences. Our physicians, nurses and technicians are all specialty-trained in the neurosciences and expertly evaluate and treat a wide variety of brain, spine and nervous system conditions. The NeuroMedical Center Clinic houses adult and pediatric neurosurgeons, neurologists, physical medicine and rehabilitation/pain medicine physicians, neuropsychologists and neuroradiologists, most of whom are board certified and single or double-fellowship trained in their respective specialties. Our clinical teams are trusted to diagnose, treat and rehabilitate 120,000 neurological cases annually.The NeuroMedical Center Clinic remains on the leading-edge of neurological treatment tools and technology. Our neurosurgeons have access to the Gulf Coast's first and only LASER for spine surgery, housed under The NeuroMedical Center roof in The Spine Hospital of Louisiana. Our advanced facility boasts a state-of-the-art Neurodiagnostic Lab and an Imaging Center that houses one of South Louisiana’s only 3T MRI scanners capable of producing the best medical imaging currently available. Additional technology including a CT scanner and an advanced X-ray machine are available in-house, allowing our physicians to find the root of your complication and guide the treatment process. At the request of our patients, The NeuroMedical Center opened an Integrative Health Center offering IV Vitamin and Hydration Infusion Therapy services as an adjunctive therapy for conditions like MS and Parkinson's disease.At The NeuroMedical Center Clinic, our physicians are not only dedicated to treating individuals with neurological complications, but are also actively engaged in clinical research initiatives to further advance innovation in the field. In fact, our campus is home to Baton Rouge’s very first and only Deep Brain Stimulation Center helping patients with Parkinson’s Disease, essential tremor and dystonia regain their independence.
