Description
Information
Texas Energy Network (TEN) was founded to address a need in the energy industry for the kind of best-in-class service traditionally demanded by the carrier industry. Together with leading technology partners, we have proven our LTE solution in remote, industrial locations, and we are already generating significant interest within the industry. Until now, the energy communications industry has been characterized by unsecure, satellite based, partial solutions that don’t directly address the needs of the customers. In fact, TEN visited the oil fields of Odessa, Texas, and found a literal “dog’s breakfeast “ of network solutions – with one screen for SCADA, one screen for Internet, one for video, yet another for phone service, etc. It’s a model of inefficiency. However, it no longer has to be. All of these services can be provided over a unified IP platform. We use LTE wireless solutions to bring voice, video and data (including SCADA) to a fiber optic backbone and deliver that information to the customer’s office and further points of distribution. They’re solutions of scope and scale that make economic sense and will help our customers operate more efficiently. TEN will continue to hire best in class network planning, engineering and operations personnel to implement our far reaching network solution to the energy industry. We look forward to working with you to create the solution you require, and we think you’ll find it pretty powerful. In fact, to the power of TEN.
