Drawing from years of IT experience, Rick and Chip Stockell formed Stockell Healthcare Systems in 1986 with Rick assuming the role of president. The company began developing a wide range of solutions for the healthcare market. As they worked with their healthcare clients, Stockell Healthcare management and staff realized that there simply was not a single, solid end-to-end revenue cycle management (patient access and patient accounting) solution available that could keep pace with rapid changes in healthcare; and thus began the process of designing and developing a more nimble solution.In 1995, InsightCS® was formally introduced as a patient accounting and billing solution.
