Our research centre is at the cutting edge of innovation, and is fully engaged in the development of reliable diagnostic products for better health and personal self-care.SPD was formed in 2007 as a joint venture between P&G and Alere, now a wholly owned subsidiary of Abbott, to create one of the world's foremost organisations in consumer diagnostics. We bring the very best of diagnostic innovation and professional technology into the home and right to the consumer’s finger-tips for better control of their own health.We are a diverse group of individuals who thrive on team performance and work closely together to ensure that we are all designing and delivering the best products for our consumers. Whilst we are well established, we are still constantly growing and evolving.We have our Head Office in Geneva, Switzerland, where there are approximately 30 employees, and our Innovation Centre and support functions in Bedford, where there are approximately 140 employees.
