Our mission at Southwestern Advantage is to be the best company in the world at helping young people develop the skills and character they need to reach their goals. Our early learning, homework help, and college prep resources help millions of kids get better grades, save time, and feel excited about school. These products are marketed by college students building their own businesses and gaining the tools they need for success in life. Established in 1855, Southwestern Advantage is the oldest of what is now over a dozen companies in the Southwestern Family of Companies. Many of the companies are founded and lead by alumni of the Southwestern Advantage entrepreneurship program and represent a wide variety of businesses such as travel, fundraising, publishing, investment services, consulting, real estate, tax services, and executive search. Southwestern Advantage is a recipient of the "Best in Business"​ award from the Nashville Business Journal, the "Education for Life Award"​ from the Direct Selling Association, and is a charter member of the Better Business Bureau, which has given it an A+ rating.
