Founded in 1943, the city of Santos (SP), Marítima Seguros is one of the strongest insurers and traditional country. At the beginning of its activities the company operated only with insurance shipping and "fire". The demand for insurance services, in the 40's, was the determining factor for the company transferred its headquarters to the city of São Paulo.
