Software Developer with a focus on building applications and web services for the internet. I am available worldwide through remote work, and locally in Edinburgh or Glasgow (UK). I have planned and developed high-quality solutions for clients in a range of sectors (SASS, e-commerce, charity, academia). This gives me a broad knowledge of the software development domain, making me an active member in any cross-functional team. My area of expertise is in the design and development of back-end systems for web services, focussing on managing data, networking, security, and the development of distributed services as a whole. I enable businesses to turn their ideas into reality. I provide advice to my clients in IT and tech related business decisions, and I take charge of the development effort to successfully build their Minimum Viable Product (MVP), allowing the business to test their ideas within their target audience quickly and cost-effectively. As an active team manager, one of my core strengths is the ability to listen and relate to other people’s ideas, cultures and philosophies. This has been a result of my exposure to different countries (Mexico, Canada, UK, USA and Luxembourg), my knowledge of multiple languages, and my work in multicultural settings.
