SDA is a private investment holding dedicated to long term entrepreneurial growthFounded under the name Demimpex by Philippe de Moerloose in 1991 and renamed in 2017, SDA Group expanded rapidly in the early 90's Africa thanks to a combination of organic growth, joint ventures and acquisitions. Automotive and heavy equipment distribution activities are the core business of the Group, active in more than 30 African countries.SDA acquired Kuiken Groep, exclusive dealer of Volvo Construction Equipment and Sennebogen in Benelux in 2015 and Volvo CE’s exclusive dealership in Great Britain in 2017. These major milestones in the group’s geographic expansion allowed it to reach a yearly consolidated turnover of around EUR 850 millions.Over the course of 25 years, SDA has evolved from a local automotive import-export company into a tier one player in the distribution of premium automotive and equipment. At the end of 2017, launched a new phase of the group’s development with the set-up of SDA Growth, a business unit specifically dedicated to diversification and private equity investment.
