The district partners with Salina Tech, Hutchinson Community College, Kansas Wesleyan University, and K-State Polytechnic for Salina students to earn college credits and learn skills. The school district is the sponsoring agency for:*Central Kansas Cooperative in Education: CKCIE is a special education cooperative of 12 school districts providing special education support services to 2,930 exceptional students with a staff of 620.*Heartland Early Education: This multi-county program serves eligible preschool students and their parents and partners with other social service agencies to provide support services. Offering Head Start, Early Head Start, State PreK, and Parents as Teachers.*Salina Adult Education Center: This program provides adult basic education, English as a second language support, GED® preparation and testing as well as college skill building. SAEC developed and runs Partners 4 Success, which provides intensive employment courses. Qualifying students may also pursue Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification at no charge.*Virtual Diploma Completion Program: DCP provides adult students the chance to earn a Central or South High School diploma.
